TOP HOTEL頂級酒店雜志專訪OAD歐安地中國區(qū)總裁李穎悟

在未來突破設計的思維,從人和創(chuàng)意出發(fā),強調地域文化的“延時性”和“根生性”為消費者營造與眾不同的場所和生活體驗,將是我們酒店設計從業(yè)者所專注的焦點所在。近日,OAD歐安地中國區(qū)總裁就酒店和度假區(qū)設計的新趨勢接受了《頂級酒店》的專訪。

《頂級酒店》:我們知道,西雙版納萬達文華度假酒店、西雙版納萬達希爾頓逸林度假酒店和西雙版納萬達皇冠假日度假酒店均由歐安地建筑設計事務所設計完成。在設計上,他們各自有什么特色?之間是否有聯(lián)系?

 

李穎悟:三間酒店之間既有聯(lián)系,又各具特色。它們都屬于傣族地方風格的度假酒店,但它們的市場定位、文化與構思、規(guī)模與形式、場景與細節(jié)都不一樣。這三間酒店是通過一個景觀休閑廊道串聯(lián)起來的。單從設計構思的角度分析,三間酒店都在同一個山上,但因所在山頂和山腳的地理位置不同,所帶來的場景體驗也各具差異。超五星級萬達文華度假酒店是依山而建,像掩映在雨林綠樹中的隱秘王宮。我們因地制宜,隨山采形,結合當?shù)貍鹘y(tǒng)文化,加以現(xiàn)代手法,組合成宜人尺度的院落空間,形成極佳的景觀視野。希爾頓逸林酒店要求400多間客房的大體量,建筑師采用極具地域特色的竹樓民居形式,構成自然的村寨聚落,采用傳統(tǒng)韻味的創(chuàng)意造型與多重花園的浪漫空間的自然過渡將大體量感削弱,打造出獨具創(chuàng)意的、民族的、宜人的建筑空間之美。

 

 

《頂級酒店》:近日,西雙版納萬達文華酒店成功入圍第十二屆國際HD AwardsHospitality Design Awards)最佳度假酒店獎。此前,也被意大利著名設計網(wǎng)站DesignboomDesignboom成立于1999年,是世界上第一個,也是最受歡迎的建筑和設計類的數(shù)字媒體)評為“2015年全球十佳度假酒店”,且是唯一上榜的中國酒店。您認為,酒店的建筑設計對酒店有著怎樣的意義?

 

李穎悟:環(huán)境和服務是酒店的關鍵因素,在這兩點中,設計在環(huán)境的領域非常重要,尤其是度假酒店。度假酒店需要在文化、場景和功能三方面統(tǒng)一考慮,達到平衡。建筑師在設計初期就要考慮如何依靠功能和自然場景更好地表達酒店的文化氣質,并進行二次周密的推敲,達到自然天成,營造出無法模仿和復制的個性場景。在度假酒店追求個性化的今天,酒店設計越來越重要,一個好的環(huán)境是客人進入酒店的第一印象,在營造酒店性格和特色方面有不可替代的作用。在此基礎上,經(jīng)過良好的運營和服務配合,才是衡量一個酒店成功的標準。因此,環(huán)境和服務這兩方面的因素,缺一不可,同生同長。

 

 

《頂級酒店》:在進行酒店設計時,您是如何處理建筑設計與室內(nèi)設計的關系?

 

李穎悟:在度假酒店的設計中,我們提倡“導演思維”,即設計師作為導演,把設計的各要素統(tǒng)一安排,將建筑、室內(nèi)和景觀合為一體,統(tǒng)一布局。從顧客的休閑需求、體驗需求和服務需求出發(fā),合理設置建筑、室內(nèi)和景觀的功能。雖然設計的具體分工可以分建筑設計和室內(nèi)設計,但是利用導演的思維去斟酌,一體化的設計系統(tǒng)其實就是一個優(yōu)秀的劇本著作。如想象客人穿梭在酒店中,抬頭可望建筑美景,駐足可觸摸生機怏然的庭院景觀,再進入到溫馨雅致的酒店大堂,模擬體驗這一系列的劇本場景,享受休閑度假中的桃園感受,這就是酒店設計中必不可少的成功要素之一。

 

 

《頂級酒店》:近年來,國內(nèi)的酒店設計師越來越重視本土化和民族化,您是怎樣理解這種文化元素的回歸?

 

李穎悟:過去,很多人都忽略了城市的地域文化。我們一直反對忽略地域文化特點,一味追求國際化和標準化的設計。我們希望在尊重傳統(tǒng)地域文化基礎上,在一個近人的尺度下,考慮人性化設計,讓民族文化的種子在度假建筑的土胚中生根。休閑度假時代已經(jīng)來了,游客現(xiàn)在要體驗的是當?shù)氐娘L土人情和原始的自然風貌,品嘗地道的當?shù)孛朗?,這些本土化和民族化的需求,更有利于打造對自己的文化有自信的城市。

 

 

《頂級酒店》:據(jù)我們了解,您是旅行達人,深度游歷了20余國,考察過數(shù)不盡的酒店,品悟了世界各地人文、歷史與文化,可否與我們分享一下您在旅行中對酒店設計的心得與體會?

 

李穎悟:我非常喜歡深度游,渴望在每一次旅行中探索每個城市的建筑精髓。我經(jīng)常會對我們的建筑師說:在自然環(huán)境里怎么去建造“消隱建筑”,怎么把建筑和景觀做得渾然一體,怎么利用當?shù)刭Y源的優(yōu)勢,這些都是設計重點。游客已不是單純地需求住宿功能的酒店,而是需求更休閑化、情景化的旅游體驗,因此我們要做到每個項目都必須進行深度地調查與研究,探尋當?shù)靥赜械奈幕?,再根?jù)不同的需求,做有目的的延展性設計任務。

 

經(jīng)濟轉型的時代提供了國際化的舞臺,東西方文化的交融,使得東方的酒店更受國際游客的青睞,我們應把中西方生活方式合理地融入到設計當中,讓中國度假酒店更有國際影響力。

 

 

《Top Hotel》: As we know, Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna, Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hotel, Xishuangbanna and Crown Plaza Resort Xishuangbanna Parkview are all designed by Office for Architecture & Design. What are design characteristics of them? Is there any relationship between them?

 

Eric Lee:There are connections between the three hotels but they all have their own features. Although the three resorts are all located in the same culture center of the Dai minority, they have very different market positions and their own challenges between culture and concept, size and scheme, space and details. Those three hotels are connected by a landscape corridor. From the design point of view, they are in the same mountain, but the location on top of the mountain creates a completely different experience from the one located at the foot of the mountain. The super five star Wanda Vista Resort located on the hilltop, looks like a palace hidden in the forest. We take the mountain shape and the local architecture, insert modern elements, and create pleasant courtyards and excellent landscape views. The Hilton Doubletree Resort required a huge volume with 400 rooms and the architects recreated many natural villages with local bamboo style houses, and decreased the huge volume by creating joint gardens and interesting shaped buildings, bringing a romantic, creative, pleasant local style architecture. 

 

 

《Top Hotel》:Recently, Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna was listed in the Best Resort Category in 12nd Hospitality Design Awards. And before it has won the honor of Top 10 Getaways and Resorts of 2015 that was appraised by famous design website Designboom (Founded at 1991, the first and the most popular architecture and design digital media). In your opinion, what’s the meaning of architecture design for a hotel?

 

Eric Lee:Environment and services are two key points for hotel business and design plays a very important role in environment,  especially for resorts, because it requires a harmony among culture, space and function. The architects need to consider how to maximize local culture by place making and functional building at the first phase, then a lot goes into details, creating a natural, unreplicated place with unique features. Nowadays resorts are so competitive and require good design. A good environment is the first impression to the guests, it does a lot to the hotel characteristic and styling. A good environment, plus a good operation system and a good service is the key to a successful hotel. Therefore environment and service come together, not one less.

 

 

《Top Hotel》:How do you deal with relationships between the architecture design and the interior design when you are doing a hotel project?

 

Eric Lee:We have “director thinking”, which requires designers to think like movie directors. We combine architecture, interior and landscape based on client needs for relaxation, experience and services. Design can be divided into two parts, architecture design and interior design, but by the means of a director thinking, an integrated design system is already a fine script itself. Imagine guests are walking through the hotel, surrounded by beautiful courtyards, a cozy but elegant lobby, etc. This series of place making creates a city getaway; this is the core in hotel design.  

 

 

《Top Hotel》:In recent years, domestic hotel designers are pay more attentions to localization and nationalization. How do you think about this phenomenon?

 

Eric Lee:Some people forget the local culture in the past but OAD has always objected to neglecting local culture and merely pursuing the traditional and international design. We create friendly resorts based on the local culture and history. We have come to a new lifestyle, visitors want to experience the local customs and natural landscape, taste local cuisine, and those experiences are building up a confident city image. 

 

 

《Top Hotel》:As we know, you have worked for different architecture companies, like Taiwan Hanghuag Group and Rotwein & Blake and have traveled more than 20 countries. Could you share with us your experience?

 

Eric Lee:I love travel, and hope to fully explore each city. I’m always telling my team that it is very important for architects to take the best of the existing resources and bring it back to the architecture, combining it with landscape and creating “hidden architecture”. The modern tourists are expecting not only the hotel function, but also living experience on leisure and space. That’s why we try our best to research for each project, creating a series of new products and services that meet guest requirements. 

 

The economic change brings about an international stage, where the eastern meets the western, and more people appreciate eastern hotels, we should bring different lifestyles to the design and make Chinese resort have stronger international influence.
